BEND HIGH DESERT HOME

We were brought in after the architecture team and builder had already designed and begun construction on this award-winning home. Our assignment was to support the homeowner with finish material selections and explore design options for foundation furnishings like drapery, rugs and accent details.

The architects designed the home to take advantage of the high desert landscape, seamlessly blending the indoor living space with the outdoor environment. Interior materials reflect the surrounding natural elements, and the exterior finishes match the muted tones of the desert.

The homeowners recognized the need to integrate livability with high-end design, and we worked to simplify some materials to make them less precious, as well as choosing pieces to bring softness to the stark environment.
