ALAMEDA RIDGE REVIVAL
We did a whole-house remodel on this stately home while keeping intact its many stunning original details. All spaces and surfaces were updated to create a fresh and vibrant feel to match the family who lives in it. Working closely with the architect and leaning on the history of the home to guide our choice of materials, we removed layers of past remodels to revive the home’s grand history.

Custom drapery rods matched the iron work already in the home, and custom linen drapery let the light in while providing nighttime privacy.
Vintage furniture mixed with new gave the formal rooms a comfortable feel, allowing each room to be enjoyed and lived in. We chose teal blue as a repeated color touch point, pillows, paint for the small sitting room all tie in with the tile in the main floor powder room.
Several of the rooms connect to small outdoor garden spaces, and we updated the kitchen door for a similar feel, letting light pour in and visually connecting to the sunny garden outside.
